PRAYER REQUESTS:
Please continue praying for Ruth Gaines.
Please be praying for my Mom, Sara. As I mentioned in previous requests, she was very lively and active before her radiation treatment, but since her treatment she has been fatigued, unable to move and do mundane things because of pain, and unable to eat normally. My family and I took her to the emergency room on Sunday because she was afraid she had pneumonia. She was feeling a heaviness in her chest. We took her to Cobb Hospital and they did not find any thing wrong with her lungs, but we spoke to a doctor there and he is going to try and get her physical therapy and maybe even home health care. That's good news. We are also having them look into whether or not she is having some type of allergic reaction to anything related to the radiation (the dye, etc...) Today they said my Mom's pulse is racing and they are moving her to a different room to be hooked up to some type of machine. Please be praying for wisdom for the doctors working on this, that my Mom's hope and energy be restored, that she could eat normally again, and that the pain in her arms and legs disappear so that she can move again. Thank you all for your prayers.

Hi everyone, I wanted to give an update on my brother. He is recovering nicely from his stroke! It turns out he had a capillary bleed rather than an aneurysm, and so the pressure is much less and that is allowing him to heal without the need for surgery. They have removed his ventilator and he is breathing on his own. I want to thank you all for your prayers! He will remain in ICU for now, because post-stroke there are still lots of dangers, so please keep him in your prayers. Also if you would still pray for the rest of the family as we all try to get rest now that the scariest part is over-- in particular, his wife and daughter and our mother and other sister have really been up all night for several days and are now trying to bounce back. My sister (a retired ICU nurse) hasn't slept more than 3 hours total in 3 days, and I am worried she will drive off the road! So again, thank you for your prayers. God is awesome!! Mary Gillmon
Pray for Rick and Ellen Coffin in India.
*If you have any prayer requests that you would like included in the VW, please e-mail office@mariettavineyard.org by Wednesday each week.

Dear Marietta friends,
Just got a notice that our renters are moving out from our house 1876 Wicksridge Lane in Wick's Lake - same neighborhood as Diane Thiel and Kent and Kradan Ostby.
Please let us know if anyone is interested - it's beautiful - on the lake - tons of windows - 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bath, large great room and family room in basement - dining room, huge garage, kitchen, gorgeous deck, etc. It's a must see! The master bedroom has it's own balcony and huge walk in closet - wish I could be there! I miss it so much!
Thanks,
Ellen and Rick
