Hi everybody! Let me start by saying I have absolutely no idea what I said during my announcement on Sunday. I was so excited when everyone laughed at my usher joke, it threw me totally off. I LOVE to make people laugh, so it was great in one way, but I blanked after that!!! Anyway, I have run over it a few times in my head and as best I can figure it wasn't what I had planned on saying, so I am going to restate it here for my benefit and yours.
I have a list of families that need assistance buying gifts for Christmas. Please don't forget Lemon Street will also be collecting gifts for children, those children are not listed here.
I am thankful to say that by the time I left church on Sunday, 5 of the children were taken care of. But part of what I forgot to say is that I would love to open this opportunity up to you all as well. If you are aware of a family who is in need, any family, let us know. God has worked through you to provide so much this year and I have no doubt that He will meet those needs as well.
I cannot express to you how thankful I am to be a part of this ministry, and a part of your family.
There are 11 children on the list (a few have been added):
Age 6 = 3 girls
Age 5 - 1 girl
Age 4 = 1 girl and 1 boy
Age 2 = 1 girl
18 mnths = 1 boy
7 mnths = 1 girl
Teenagers = 2 girls
