Sale in the Bookstore!

During July only, our bookstore will be temporarily re-pricing all of its books and CD’s at our purchase costs.  For example, all $13.00 Vineyard CD’s will be on sale for $9.00.  Stop by and take a look at our selection of CD's and books on Sunday.

We would like to ask everyone who uses the church building, including the teachers throughout children’s ministry, to please be mindful of where the Air Conditioning is set.  When you are closing up your room, please leave it set at 78 degrees!  Thank you!

Saturday night's Dare to Pray has been discontinued for the summer, but will re-start in September.  We are seeking God's leading as to how this prayer ministry can be more effective when it resumes.  Please contact Rick Gaines with your thoughts and ideas at rickgaines@ups.com.

We have 3 families in need of support for a monthly box of Angel Food. The monthly donation is $30 and needs to be to the church the first week of each month. If you are interested in supporting one of these families fully or partially please contact Jack Holcomb at jackhjac@yahoo.com or on his cell at 770-899-8024.  Thank you!

Every Tuesday night a group goes to the Youth Detention Center in Marietta to spend time talking and praying with the teens there. Consider joining us sometime to see if this is a ministry that God is asking you to be a part of. Contact Diane Thiel for more info: [yokudi@yahoo.com]

PRAYER REQUESTS:

Please pray for Justin Clarke and his family.

Please continue praying for Ruth Gaines.

Please be praying for Kip Bell’s mother.

From Beverly in Chiang Mai, Thailand:

Thanks for your continued prayers.  Another counselor started working this week at The Well.  However, since she is not able to handle certain kinds of cases, that means that I'm the only one to take these new clients.  Pray that I will be able to keep good boundaries and not get over booked and tired.  Also please pray for our clients that they will be willing to do what God is asking them to do so they can receive their healing.

Pray for Rick and Ellen Coffin.

Please continue praying for Chaz’s grandmother Nadine Tison.

*If you have any prayer requests that you would like included in the VW, please e-mail office@mariettavineyard.org by Wednesday each week.
