Brendan and Melodie Purcell are parents of two girls ages 8 and 12. They currently work on staff as Youth Directors for the Marietta Vineyard Church where they lead both the Middle School and High School youth ministry programs. They have been a part of the Vineyard since 1999.
They have always had a heart for teenagers.
Brendan has worked with youth most of his adult life in coaching and teaching soccer and basketball. Brendan has always had a heart for Youth, Relating to them with his own experiences and trials in his own life, he loves to teach and hang out investing in their lives.
Melodie looks back on her life, as she has seen the hand of God rescue her from destructive situations in the past, and she longs to speak into the lives of impressionable young people. Her testimony allows her to relate to teenagers in a deep and unpretentious way, and she loves spending her talents on behalf of the youth
In addition to their position as youth ministers, Brendan Graduated with a BA in Business and AA in Sports Administration and currently works regional operations manager with Nexcam and Teaches private soccer lessons to academy teams.
Melodie is professionally certified in dance, including ballet, hip-hop and jazz dance styles, and has been employed as a dance teacher for more than eight years. She also owns her own on-location photography company, Angel Wings Photography. Currently Melodie also works as an office manager for Atache in Atlanta GA.
They thoroughly enjoy their role as Youth Directors, as well as photography, coaching and spending time with their family. They plan to go through VLI (vineyard leader Institute next year)
