What the Vineyard Believes

Our Vision:

"The Marietta Vineyard is a community of believers striving to be relevant, impacting the lost, equipping the found and restoring the broken, all for the glory of God."
The Marietta Vineyard is part of The Association of Vineyard Churches. For more information, visit their website www.vineyardusa.org.

What Does The Vineyard Believe?
We believe in the one triune God who exists in three Persons—the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19).

We believe in the full humanity and deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless Life, in His substitutionary atonement, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory (John 1:14-18, 2 Cor. 5:21).

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who among His various ministries, regenerates, sanctifies, guides and empowers all believers through His gifts (1 Cor 12:4-11, Gal. 5:16-23, Titus. 3:5).

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible word of God and that it is our guide for faith and practice (2 Tim 3:16-17).

We believe that all men and women are sinners and can only be justified by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:1-10).

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 12:12-13).

We believe in the resurrection of all men and women to a final judgment; eternal blessing for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked (Matt. 25:31-46).

A Relaxed and Friendly Atmosphere:
Right away you’re going to notice that the Marietta Vineyard is a gathering of people from all different age groups, nationalities, and backgrounds. The dress is casual, the people are friendly, and the style is relaxed. Make new friends and discover a relationship with God that really works while connecting with each other in a relaxed environment.

Contemporary Worship Music that is Uplifting and Intimate:
The words are displayed in the front so it’s easy to join in. We think you’ll find the freedom to open your heart and experience the presence of Jesus as we sing songs of God’s goodness and love.

Practical, Meaningful and Relevant Teaching:
Pastor Ron Wallace shares life-changing Biblical principles in a way that is fresh and easy to understand.

Ministry Time and Immediate Prayer:
Each week we reserve time at the end of the service so that people can come forward for prayer to seek God’s mercy for himself or herself or a loved one.

Children's Ministry:
The nursery and the preschool classes open 10 minutes before each service with a trained staff that keeps them safe and provides a fun and enriching time. Children age 5 to Grade 5 and over have their own time of worship. The first Sunday of the month, children are with their parents in the main auditorium for worship and communion, and then are released to their classes. (NOTE: during the summer, childcare and kids church are offered during second service only.)

We’d Like to Know You Were Here:
Please take a minute to fill out the guest card located in the Welcome Packet. We would love to know a little bit about you. Our Welcome Packet also includes information about our church and a free worship CD! Our prayer is that each guest experiences the love of Jesus and warm acceptance from our church family.
